Hi Laura, I like your new post. Recently I've been work on a research grant proposal, and realized that your book can help me to write grant proposals just as it does with book proposals! How amazing. But when I thought for a second time, of course it does! The two types of proposals have so much in common.
Thank you for this great feedback! Good luck with your grants! (And check out my client Betty Lai's book on grant writing when it comes out from Princeton UP next year :)
By the way, I am trying to submit an application for the Princeton University Press's book proposal development grant to work with you. But it seems their submission page does not work. Ever since the Feb. 7 I've been submitting... but the webpage always "encountered a problem," and keeps asking me to "try later." I contacted the PUP's twitter manager, who kindly promised to pass on the information to relevant department, but so far the webpage does not accept my application. I also contacted the PUP director Christie Henry, and so far there's no reply.
May I ask if you could kindly share the information with your contacts at the press? It would be super helpful if they can fix the submission function before the deadline. Thank you so much!!
Did you ever get a response about the glitch? Did you try other browsers to see if that helped? You might also reach out to Samantha Jeannot (Samantha_Jeannot@press.princeton.edu) -- I think Christie may have been out of the office but Samantha should be able to help too. Good luck!
Thanks a lot, Laura. After reading your reply, I decided to try one more time with the submission and then reach out to Samantha Jeannot, as you suggested. But this time my submission was successful! It turns out the website does not recognize the German letters ö and ß...
Thank you so much for your time and advice, I hope I can get the chance to work with you. Have a great day!
My success measure is that it's still in print 6? 7? years after publication. It's a textbook ancillary and hasn't been updated (they won't do a second edition), but I reached the escalator clause in my contract this year. I honestly didn't think it would do this well for this long, but annual adoptions keep growing.

Thanks a lot, I will definitely buy a copy.
