Outstanding Academic Book Proposals

This is a quick weekend check-in to let you know that there’s still time to register for my public workshop, Outstanding Academic Book Proposals, happening this Friday, August 20th, from 10am to 11:30am PDT.

This workshop is for you if:

• You’ve never written a book proposal before and don’t know where to start

• You’ve published books before but want to take greater control in the process the next time around

• You’re curious about how things work inside scholarly publishers when they make acquisitions decisions

• You’ve drafted a proposal but want some tips to take it up a notch before sending it out

• You have questions you can’t seem to track down honest answers to no matter how many people you talk to or websites you read

This is the last time I’ll be offering this workshop publicly in 2021, so now’s your chance!

All registrants will receive access to a recording and transcript of the session, along with slides and handouts. You don’t have to attend live — the recording will remain available for 30 days after the presentation. Hope to see you there!
